The wider Northwest has produced many great writers, from post-modernist Brian O’Nolan (better known as Flann O’Brien, or Myles na Gcopaleen, if you like) to Brian Friel, Seamus Heaney, Nell McCafferty and Seamus Deane, to name just a few.
Our local team of cultural nerds are investigating the artistic heritage of the Northwest, as well as exploring what is going on now, to provide insights to our cultural identity. Expect a wide range of cultural perspectives, often reflecting the complex histories of the region.
