Where it came from…

This amazing event started in  2011 in Utah, USA, to promote two simple things: Happiness and Healthiness. From there on, it has expanded through out the world like South America, Asia, New Zealand, Australia and Europe.

How it started…

Children in Crossfire brought the fun and exciting event to Londonderry in 2015 with over 1000 people participated.  The event consisted of a 5K run/walk starting in Ebrington Square Derry to the quay close to Sainsbury’s’ car park. With the dress code of white clothes, all runners needed to bring their imagination and enthusiasm. It has never  been about the fastest runner or best time. It will always be about helping an amazing organisation and having as much fun as possible.

Children in Crossfire

Children in Crossfire was founded in 1996 with the vision of a world which consists of every child can reach his or her own potential. In an ideal world, this organisation wouldn’t need to work so hard but we don’t. So this company is there to shake, awaken and cultivate the idea for a better world.

From working across the UK to Africa, they want to change the way children that are brought up in a fight with injustice and poverty.

By organizing these events, the company is creating awareness towards the essential work that they have been working towards since 96, while encouraging people to have fun.

Colour Run 2016
